# LogicNets Platform Components and Packaging

## LogicNets Decision Support Application Platform

LogicNets is a robust software platform that enables authors with specific knowledge and guidance content to work in an interactive, visual-design environment to capture and express their process knowledge through easy and efficient visual modeling. Using LogicNets, organizations capture the know-how of their subject matter experts and then make that content available on demand as web-enabled applications that guide non-expert users interactively through the underlying modeled processes so that they can quickly collect, analyze, and react in real time, performing as if they were the experts.

### Modular Architecture

There are many ways to construct and use decision-support guidance, and LogicNets offers functionality to address different decision support use cases. Our system distributes this functionality between the platform’s base functionality and a range of overlying and separately licensed software layers and options to meet specific application requirements.

### LogicNets Components

The diagram below shows all generally available LogicNets software options and how they are organized into different categories, providing users the ability to selectively license and layer advanced or specialized functions on top of the base components to meet their needs.

You can acquire and license these LogicNets software components a la carte, and LogicNets bundles components into logical groups for related use case scenarios. Generally, LogicNets licenses component parts based on the number of users directly accessing or benefitting from them. As shown in the diagram, the full set of platform options is divided into the following categories:

LogicNets makes the platform components available under a range of licensing options. We can work with you to review considerations for how to deploy the software and enhance your use through LogicNets professional services.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://community-test.logicnets.com/release-9/getting-started/logicnets-an-introduction/logicnets-platform-components-and-packaging.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
