# Deployment Manager Configurations

A Deployment Manager *configuration* contains details of all the workspaces, projects, revisions, packages, and deployment images associated with it. You create a configuration in an instance, which allows you to create an image to make available.

You can take multiple actions for any configuration set. Click on the links below to view information about each action:

* [Modify](/release-9/platform-documentation/system-administration/deployment-manager/modify-a-configuration.md)
* [Delete](/release-9/platform-documentation/system-administration/deployment-manager/delete-a-configuration.md)
* [Create Image](/release-9/platform-documentation/system-administration/deployment-manager/create-an-image.md)
* Deploy

**Note:** The details shown in the configuration grid include the last selected revision number, version text, and version status. They reflect the choices made by the Deployment Manager user when that person initially added the project to the configuration or when the project was last modified.

There may be other available revisions for the package checked in after the deployment set was created or last modified. When you modify the configuration set, the system displays the available revisions.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://community-test.logicnets.com/release-9/platform-documentation/system-administration/deployment-manager/deployment-manager-configurations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
